Prabhakar is a Microbiologist and stalwart of the Pharmaceutical Industry, with nearly 50 years of accomplished national and international experience, out which 30 years were in senior leadership roles.
He was part of the ‘Strategic Planning Cell’ and the World Wide ‘Core Marketing Team’ of Warner Lambert Company during 1992-96. He was their Manager-Pharmaceutical Marketing for 21 countries and Latin America/Asia, based in New Jersey, US, in 1996.
He has developed expertise in ‘Conceptual Selling’ targeted to new and emerging therapies. He was instrumental in establishing concepts like diabetic dyslipidemia and endothelial dysfunction. He has spearheaded the ‘anti-aging’ concept to slow down the progression of various chronic inflammatory diseases. His latest passion is prevention and remission of diabetes. He is a strong believer of food, exercise and sleep as preventive medicine.
Prabhakar has launched over 75 brands in the Indian market including a range of nutraceuticals and cosmetics with a healing touch, drawing upon the latest research in activating stem cells too. He has worked in senior leadership positions in Parke Davis, Kopran, Cadila, Sarabhai, Marksans and Apex Labs. As a medico-marketing consultant, he has been a source of inspiration and the guiding spirit for us at LeFiable.
